My buttons are hand-cast in my own molds, and feature a fully-functioning d-pad - unlike the ones from China and other retailers which do not hit the diagonals well and feel odd.
First a clear resin is poured and allowed to cure, a few coloured glass beads are then hand placed, and filled with resin, a third pour is made that contains a powder and finially they are rear painted with black to allow the colours to stand out
