Batteries can leak, and the wreak havoc when they do - sometimes it can be cleaned up, but sometimes the damage can be too great; that's just one scenario where you'll need some replacement battery terminals.

These new battery terminals are the same dimensions and form-factor as OEM; you simply need to remove (desolder) the old terminal(s) to replace, and swap in these replacements. You'll be back up-and-running quickly.
