Custom-cast buttons for the Nintendo Game Cube Controller.
My buttons are hand-cast in my own molds mad from original controller buttons and sticks. The Z buttons is molded from the original also as the china Z buttons do not function properly without modification.
Set includes:
- Thumb Stick
- C Stick
- Dpad
- Start
- A, B, X, Y
- Z Button
Buttons are supplied in a 3D printed box to make sure safe shipping and to keep the sets together
The thumb and C sticks do not have a rubber caps, they are resin so are not as "grippy" as originals have this.
Thumb sticks domes are also thin and fragile as they are resin, please install them carefully, do not squeeze or use excess force for installing them
The Method:
First a clear resin is poured and allowed to cure, then a mica powder is put in and back filled in a coloured resin - it is done like this so that the metallic effect will not wear off as it is encapsulated beneath the clear resin. Mica powder may be patchy on the part of the button not seen, this is the nature of the process. These are suited towards solid shell build
